Ray LaPlume
Past President
rlaplume@LIWprint.comWith near 80 years in printing, Ray is among the most experienced and respected in the industry. Starting in 1944, at just six years old, he worked in his father’s small print shop located in the backyard of their Inman Street home in Lawrence. Over the forty years that they operated the business together, it grew from a small backyard shop to the expansive operation it is today. Seventy-five years later, Ray can still be found in the facility, ensuring that the same quality and affordability his father envisioned when he founded LaPlume continues. His dedication to craftsmanship, customer service, and continuous improvement helped establish the foundation on which the company continues to grow today.
